Chef Mem's Egg Custard & Mango Sticky Rice provide the perfect blend of freshness and just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy your sweet tooth. With freshly steamed sticky rice, Mem mixes in just a hint of sugar to provide a pop of sweetness. Then she layers on top freshly made egg custard and fresh slices of mango. to finish it off, she drizzles on top handmade coconut cream.
Think doughnut holes, but with a Lao twist. Traditionally, this dish is called Khanom Thom Bai Toey. Chef Mem forms these fresh rice balls from scratch, using her own home recipe. When you take a bite, you'll first enjoy a soft texture similar to a mochi ball, but soon you'll be surprised with an inside stuffed full of sweet shredded coconut. Sprinkled on top is pure shredded coconut.
